STOVALL YOUTH POLICY SERIES- "HOW BILLS BECOME LAWS"

201-203 Workshops  Tuesdays Mar 30th, Apr 6th, Apr 13th  5:30pm-6:15pm

The 3 workshops are targeted to middle and high school students. The attendees will explore 1-2 bills in the Georgia General Assembly, express their opinions on the bills, send correspondence to bill sponsors, and view committee hearings on the bills. The attendees will also view at least one local government meeting to compare the bill process to the state and federal levels. The courses will be interactive. It is recommended to attend all 3 sessions to receive the best benefit. Limit to 20 attendees.
